RXCVRDO

Refund policy

Draft for solicitor review (24 October 2026). Words in [square brackets] need filling in.

RXCVRDO Sounds is run by [Company name] Ltd. This policy explains when you can get your money (or tokens) back. It doesn't take away any of your legal rights.

The short version

  • Unused token bundles: ask within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full.
  • Sounds and beats you've downloaded: we can't take them back, so we don't refund them, unless the file is faulty or isn't what was described. Then we'll put it right or refund you.
  • To ask for a refund: go to the Refunds section on your account page, or reply to your receipt email. We'll get back to you within [2] working days.

Your right to cancel, and when it ends

When you buy something online in the UK you normally have 14 days to change your mind. For digital things like tokens, sounds and beats, that right ends once you start using them, if you agreed to that before paying.

Before you pay, we ask you to tick a box saying you want your purchase straight away and understand you lose the right to cancel once you download or use it. That's because a download can't be returned: once you have the file, you have it.

Tokens

  • Unused bundles: if you haven't spent any tokens from a bundle, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying it. While we look at your request the tokens are put on hold, so they can't be spent. If we refund you, the tokens are removed; if we don't, they're given back.
  • Partly used bundles can't be refunded.
  • Monthly plans: you can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage plan), and you won't be charged again. We don't refund months you've already paid for, unless the law requires it. Tokens you still have stay usable for 35 days after your plan ends.
  • Tokens have no cash value, can't be swapped for money and can't be moved to another account. Bundle tokens last 12 months from the day you buy them.

Sounds bought with tokens

Once a sound or pack is in your library you can download it as often as you like, so we don't refund it. If a file is faulty (it won't open, it's damaged, or it's missing something the page promised) or it isn't what the description said, ask for a refund and we'll give you your tokens back, or fix the file if we can.

Beats

Beat licences are paid for by card and you can download the files straight away, so we don't refund them once bought, except:

  • if a file is faulty or isn't what the licence or page described: we'll fix it or refund you in full;
  • if we can't deliver what you paid for (for example, two people paid for the same exclusive at once): we refund automatically.

If a beat is refunded, your licence ends: you can no longer download the files, and you mustn't release new music using it.

Faulty content: your legal rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that isn't possible, or doesn't fix the problem, a price reduction or refund. Nothing in this policy affects those rights.

How refunds are paid

Card refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank. Token refunds appear in your account straight away.

Chargebacks

If something's wrong, please ask us first: it's usually quicker. If you ask your bank to reverse a payment (a chargeback), we'll put the tokens or downloads from that purchase on hold until the bank decides, and remove them if the payment is reversed.

Creators

When a sale is refunded, the creator's share of it is taken back. If it was already paid out, it comes off their next payout. See the creator terms.
